Hydrotherapy
At Potentiate Rehab, our Hydrotherapy (aquatic physiotherapy) services use the therapeutic properties of warm water to support safe, effective rehabilitation across a wide range of conditions. Hydrotherapy is particularly beneficial for post-fracture rehabilitation, muscle strains, ligament and tendon injuries, back and neck pain, as well as neurological rehabilitation where land-based exercise may be limited. Water buoyancy reduces joint load and pain, allowing clients to move more freely and confidently while improving strength, mobility, and endurance.
Our programs are individualised and evidence-based, combining active exercise, balance training, gait re-education, and functional movement within a controlled aquatic environment. Hydrotherapy is ideal for NDIS participants, older adults under My Aged Care, and private clients seeking low-impact rehabilitation. We use objective outcome measures to monitor progress and provide detailed reporting to participants, families, and support coordinators, ensuring therapy remains goal-driven, measurable, and aligned with funding requirements.
