Occupational therapist guiding client through gross and fine motor skill development exercises

Gross and Fine Motor Skills Development

At Potentiate Rehab, our experienced Occupational Therapists can assist NDIS participants with development of Gross and Fine motor skills to help improve coordination, strength, and functional movement. We work on gross motor skills such as balance, posture, and mobility when doing functional tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning etc. We also assist with development of fine motor skills including hand-eye coordination, grasp, and dexterity, supporting independence in daily living and participation in meaningful activities.

Our approach is evidence-based, goal-focused, and individualised, using structured therapy, practical exercises, and objective outcome measures to track progress. Detailed reports are provided to participants, families, and support coordinators, guiding therapy, supporting NDIS funding, and ensuring measurable improvements in functional abilities and overall quality of life.
